STRIKE NIGHT UPDATE :
Strike for the play will be held Monday, November 24 from 3:00-5:30PM ONLY. We will need 25 people at Monday's strike. Please sign up on the board outside room 140. In order for everyone to have the chance to fulfill their strike requirement we will be having a session sometime soon to move all of MTPA's props, sets and costumes to their new homes. We will schedule this session as soon as we receive the ok to move into the new areas. Please listen for announcements and check the webpage for when this work session will be held.
USHERS:
Report time is 6:30PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20, 21, and 22. Ushers are very important to our production since they are the audience's first impression of MTPA. Therefore, ushers need to "dress up" (ladies-a nice skirt or dress pants and blouse or dress; gentleman-a nice shirt and tie--NO JEANS).
MUSICAL KICK OFF MEETING :
The musical kick off meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 5:30PM in room 140. Audition information as well as stage crew, paint crew, and costume crew sheets will be available at this meeting. Please bring $3.00 to cover pizza and drink. Signup on the board outside room 140 by the end of school on Monday, Nov. 24.
Peter Pan Parental Flyers Needed:
As we mentioned at the kickoff meeting we are seeking several parents that would be willing to serve as flyers backstage during Peter Pan. ZFX Flying suggests that flyers/handlers be physically fit as it is not a difficult job but an energetic one! We already have the dates and basic time commitment we will need. If a parent is interested in being a part of the show in this way please see Mr. Wagner.
MTPA Membership Forms :
If you haven't already filled one out please download a membership form and drop it off in room 140. We want to make sure we have everyone in the MTPA database! By filling out a membership form you will receive the MTPA newsletter. Also, be sure to check this website for announcements.

PETER PAN AUDITIONS/ CREW INFORMATION
It is hard to believe that we aren't even finished with the play and we need to be thinking about the musical!! This is just a reminder that the general auditions will be held on Tuesday, December 2 from 5:30PM until we are done. Callbacks are scheduled for Wednesday, December 3 at 6:30PM if needed.
Audition materials (audition forms, schedules, parent permission letter and the tryout piece and practice CD) will be available on Tuesday, November 25 at the musical kickoff meeting at 5:30PM. We will rehearse the audition pieces and discuss auditions. Schedules for stage crew and paint crew will be available on this meeting. Don’t miss this important meeting on November 25! |
